About
Judith Clark is a curator and exhibition-maker based in London. An Australian raised in Rome, she moved to London to study architecture at the Bartlett (UCL) and the Architectural Association. In 2015 she gained an MA in Cultural and Intellectual History 1300-1650 from the Warburg Insitute, School of Advanced Studies. From 1997 – 2003, twenty-one exhibitions were staged at the Judith Clark Costume Gallery in Notting Hill. Since then, the experimental work carried out at the gallery has been extended for museums, galleries, and retail spaces worldwide.
Clark is Professor of Fashion and Museology at London College of Fashion, UAL, where she teaches on the MA Fashion Curation and in 2014 co-founded the Centre for Fashion Curation. Clark is currently Visiting Professor in the Dipartimento di Culture del Progetto, IUAV, Venice; and she is Associate Fellow in the Historic Carving Department at City and Guilds of London Art School.
